Today we are talking about the promised Savior.<\/strong><\/p>

Because the first couple disobeyed God by belittling God’s love, they inherited the curse of sin, eternal destruction. But God did not forsake them and showed compassion for them and promised to send a savior to save them from this curse.<\/p>

The savior was promised in the Garden of Eden.<\/strong>
1. The woman’s seed crushes the devil’s head
He promised that the saviors who would come from among the chosen family would one day destroy the power of the devil. Because the day man obeyed the voice of the devil, he surrendered to his power.
2. The devil crushes his heel.
That is the physical suffering that the saviors had to do when they came to this world.<\/p>

In the Old Testament, sin had a temporary covering.
They sacrificed an unblemished lamb.
But those sacrifices were incomplete.
These sacrifices were incomplete and Jesus completed the sacrifice by coming and giving his life.<\/p>

The prophecies tell of His coming.<\/strong>
1. He is born of a virgin. (Isaiah 7:14)
Isaiah 7:14 is
Therefore the Lord himself will give you[a] a sign: The virgin[b] will conceive and give birth to a son, and[c] will call him Immanuel<\/p>

2. He is born in Bethlehem. (Micah 5:2-4)
Micah 5:2-4 says,
\u201cBut you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
although you are small among the clans[a] of Judah,
out of you will come for me
one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose origins are from of old,
from ancient times.\u201d<\/p>

Therefore Israel will be abandoned
until the time when she who is in labor bears a son,
and the rest of his brothers return
to join the Israelites.<\/p>

He will stand and shepherd his flock
in the strength of the Lord,
in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God.
And they will live securely, for then his greatness
will reach the ends of the earth.<\/p>

3. Will be born from the family of David. (Isaiah 11:1)
Isaiah 11:1 is
A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse;
from his roots a branch will bear fruit.<\/p>

4. Jesus was destined to suffer and die for the sin of man. (Isaiah 53:4-9)
Isaiah 53:4-9 says,
Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.<\/p>

He was oppressed and afflicted,
yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.
By oppression[a] and judgment he was taken away.
Yet who of his generation protested?
For he was cut off from the land of the living;
for the transgression of my people he was punished.[b]
He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in his death,
although he had done no violence,
nor was there any deceit in his mouth.<\/p>

5. He will rise from the dead. (Psalm 16:10)
Psalm 16:10 says,
because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
nor will you let your faithful one see decay.<\/p>

6. Mentions about the service that Jesus will do. (Isaiah 61:1,2)
Isaiah 61:1,2 is,
he Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;<\/p>

To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;<\/p>

He came as promised. All the prophecies happened like that.<\/strong>
1. He was born of a virgin. (Luke 1:26,27,31)
2. He was born in Bethlehem. (Luke 2:10,11)
3. He was born of the line of David. (Luke 1:26,27)
4. He suffered and died for mankind. (Matthew 26:67,68)
5. He rose from the dead. (Matthew 28:6)
6. He served as He promised. (Matthew 4:23,24)<\/p>

He fulfilled the promise made in the Garden of Eden.
Jesus Christ, the one who came from the woman, crushed the devil’s head. That is, the destruction of the devil’s power over man.
Read 1 John 3:8 and Hebrews 2:4-15<\/p>

He broke down the wall of sin that separated man from God (Read Ephesians 2:14). Jesus paid the price to God.<\/p>

As God promised in the Garden of Eden, the Savior came to the world and died on the cross to remove the curse of sin. This paves the way for those who believe in it to live a happy life with God.
