Deliverance from the curse of sin<\/strong><\/p>

Man, who was having fellowship with God and enjoying all the blessings, became hopeless after disobeying God. This is spiritual death. But by sending God’s Savior, man has been provided with the opportunity to regain the blessings he lost at first and to return to a close relationship with Him. This is called rebirth or salvation.<\/p>

The nature of a spiritually dead person.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

1. He cannot hold fellowship with God.<\/p>

Let’s look at 1 Corinthians 2:14<\/p>

The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.<\/em><\/p>

2. He is a slave of the devil<\/p>

3. He has no inner peace.<\/p>

4. He is delusional.<\/p>

Let’s look at Isaiah 53:6<\/p>

We all, like sheep, have gone astray,<\/em><\/p>

each of us has turned to our own way;<\/p>

and the Lord has laid on him<\/p>

the iniquity of us all.<\/p>

5. He is under the power of sin.<\/p>

Let’s look at John 8:34<\/p>

Jesus replied, \u201cVery truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.<\/em><\/p>

6. He seeks joy in worldly things.<\/p>

The futile efforts of men.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Man in a spiritually dead nature is now adopting various ways to escape.<\/p>

1.Righteous works.<\/p>

Treating the poor, donating to religious places. things like<\/p>

2. Religious rituals<\/p>

3. Living a good life.<\/p>

Being free from trouble,<\/p>

Abstain from smoking and drinking alcohol<\/p>

4. Social services<\/p>

But God says that it is futile to do these things without being born spiritually.<\/p>

Order of spiritual birth.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

1. Acknowledging that I have sinned against God<\/p>

Let’s look at Romans 3:23.<\/p>

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,<\/em><\/p>

2. Acknowledging that there is a penalty for my sin.<\/p>

Let’s look at Romans 6:23.<\/p>

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.<\/em><\/p>

3. I must believe that Jesus Christ paid for my sins.<\/p>

Let’s look at Romans 4:24-25.<\/p>

but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness\u2014for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.<\/em><\/p>

4. I should pray to wash away my sins.<\/p>

Let’s look at 1 John 1:7.<\/p>

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.<\/em><\/p>

5. We should invite Him to come into our hearts.<\/p>

Let’s look at Revelation 3:20.<\/p>

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.<\/em><\/p>

When we do this with faith, we will experience rebirth. Now God’s special blessings are fulfilled.<\/p>

Wrong attitudes of human beings<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

1. Belonging to a Christian family and thinking that you are children of God.<\/p>

2. Thinking that you are children of God because you go to a church.<\/p>

This does not happen. The only way we receive our spiritual birth is by believing in God as our Savior.<\/p>

When spiritual birth is attained<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

1. We are children of God.<\/p>

2. Get a new life<\/p>

3. Get new powers<\/p>

Everyone who is spiritually born will inherit heaven and we will be rewarded by Him for serving Him.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
