Where do you find your identity?

Who are you really?

When you define your identity, it is not just important to be part of who you are, such as “I am a Christian” or “I am religious” or “I am spiritual”. Understanding your identity with God begins with understanding who He is, what He says about Himself, and what He says about you. Your identity can be defined by who God makes you into.

You need to understand how Jesus sees you. Your true identity is ultimately based on what God has done for you. In the Bible, God often tells us how He views His people.

In Christ, you are loved. You were created with a purpose. You are not just an easy carbon copy of someone else. You are uniquely and intentionally created. God has lovingly created every detail of your person.

In Christ, you are not only loved but also chosen. God sent His own Son to earth to die in your place so that you could be included in His family.

God sees you as a loving child who bears His name.
